Willow Lodge Hambleton

I can’t even recommend this place enough , we found this on the one off chance for a one night stay , we usually don’t have breakfast ether so this was the first , the place is clean and tidy, all security gated and felt safe - parking is available also! which helps a lot! the room is welcoming and inviting to anyone who arrives before arrival all details were sent early enough to prepare , when we arrived Darrell came to introduce him self explained the kitchen and so on! the kitchen area is a great add on open all hours apart from the allocated cleaning hours and has everything you could need breakfast was great! the pre ordered sausage and bacon was great! highly recommend to have, even if you don’t want this the continental is a great option it has everything you could need , great selection check out was made easy no fuss we can’t wait to return!!! for a long stay next time! thank you

only thing I didn’t like was the bed abit to soft ( due to being memory foam ) but this is down to personal preference

The room was beautiful, bed super comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. A lovely welcome from Debra and Darrell who couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed our continental breakfast each morning in the pretty courtyard outside our room. Pastries, yoghurts, fruit, bacon and sausage and lots more. Can’t recommend this little gem highly enough! Look forward to staying again when next up in the North West. We’ve stayed in 5 star hotels with rooms not as perfect as the one we stayed in at Willow Lodge.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but only a short drive away from Blackpool. Gated entry so feels safe. And lovely small apartment with no expense spared. The attention to the smallest detail to make you feel at home was spectacular. Even down to the slippers and toiletries. It’s quiet and calming especially if you have had a long drive it’s nice to just relax. Amazing breakfast on offer in the morning. And the owners have thought everything through especially during Covid you have anything you could want for breakfast and it’s labelled and in the fridge and hot pots. Hot breakfast of sausage and bacon rolls was offered to which were delicious. Also great for kids we have a 4year old and they offer an extra bed unfortunately we were to late in booking to get it but they room the put us in had a bed big enough for 4 people and was great for us. Owners are lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone to planning to visit. Definitely one to visit.

Nothing to not like

This was our third stay at Willow Lodge, very high standards of cleanliness and food quality . Charming location with very friendly owners.Willow lodge has a very relaxed and calm feel. Nothing is to much trouble and you feel very valued as guests.Breakfast is both cooked and continental and plenty of it.Rooms are well decorated with beautiful furnishings. Lovely surroundings with a short drive to the coast.Everything in place to make your stay safe during this time of the Covid pandemic.

The room was beautifully decorated with a really comfortable bed ( I want one like it at home ). Breakfast was all set out in sealed containers ( very covid friendly ) with a great choice, We were offered vegetarian sausages , which was good. The whole place was clean and secluded but not too far to travel to places of interest. The owner was very freindly and helpful, we would recommend this place to anybody without hesitation.

WE had a lovely couple of nights here and the room was delightful with a lovely big bed. We were met by a gentleman who showed us to our room and nothing seemed too much trouble. I was very impressed with how they did breakfast and there was plenty of choice and no problems with social distancing. We had a lovely walk around the area and other villages close by. We parked the car up near the tram and got the tram into blackpool and had a lovely walk along the front. I think this is the perfect location as you are not too close to blackpool but not too far away if you want to go there.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Very clean and COVID friendly. The breakfast was amazing plenty of choice, labelled with room number. We felt safe, because of the pandemic etc. All you needed, the room was luxurious. Will visit again . Many thanks .Andy & Theresa.

It was perfect there was nothing not to like

Modern, self contained, tranquil. The room and all its contents were high spec, spacious and comfortable. The owners of the property were second to none, they really went out of their way to accommodate us ahead of our stay which was really appreciated and during our stay nothing was too much trouble. We certainly felt very welcome and relaxed.

Our stay was lovely, the room was beautiful and so clean. The bed was HUGE and so comfortable, perfect for a relaxing evening. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast too which provided lots of choice.

Lovely three night stay. Darrell and Debra were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Extremely clean and an exceptional buffet breakfast, as an extra hot sausage and bacon provided and even cooked vegetarian sausages. Would definitely recommend .

My partner and I had a lovely stay here, very friendly hosts in beautiful grounds. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from, including hot and cold food. Rooms were clean and had a huge bed!

This is a lovely quiet relaxing hotel. The room was clean, modern, the beds were comfy, great breakfast. The location was perfect.

I can’t think of anything negative to say about it.

This place is beautiful loved everything about it the beds are so comfortable the room is gorgeous and breakfast you have every think you could want you couldn’t ask for more at this place will definitely be back Thank you for an amazing stay

Fantastic landscaping and high standard of finish. Renovated like a home, not just a holiday let. Lovely hosts too, would definitely stay again.

Not really a garden view so room name was a bit misleading in that regard, but didn’t make a difference to my stay at all as I wasn’t in the room much. Everything else was immaculate.

The accommodation was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard but with comfort in mind. The owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

There was nothing to complain about.

We were looking for quiet and we found it. Good size room. Comfy big bed with en-suite. Breakfast was spot on with several options. Rooms were immaculate and modern. The owners were very friendly and answered promptly any queries. Even let us keep the water bottles as we liked them.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like to be honest.

Breakfast included . Hot bacon and sausage were provided if ordered .. in separate kitchen were milk in fridge , cereals fruit salad three different types of bread . Fruit juice in fridge . Eat in your room ..

Liked everything… lots of little details … wine glasses bowl of ice in freezer . Tea and coffee facilities with biscuits provided … toiletries provided , no shower cap ? , wasn’t a problem used the bath instead ..
