Surprise hidden gem”
We booked one night at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was for such a reasonable price. Room was very clean with plenty of space. Shower worked really well and bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. A very quiet hotel so we had an excellent nights sleep. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. Yes, it does have an old fashioned look which perfectly matches the style of the house. It's a small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent. What more do you need?

I booked an overnight stay as I was working locally. After a long day I arrived just before 8pm, Carlos who was on duty was very welcoming. My single room was a good size with the usual features. The shower was hot! A comfortable nights sleep, breakfast is limited in scope but I think adequate for most! If you want 10 different varieties of cereal you'll be out of luck! I can highly recommend the cooked breakfast also the coffee was very good, superior to some larger hotel chains! If you are looking for good honest accommodation you can't go wrong with the Wimblehurst hotel!

Wonderfully friendly place to stay”
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel for just over a week while attending a funeral. It is very pleasant with a good breakfast. John is an ideal first person to see over breakfast!

lots of stairs to climb with luggage. got put in the ver ytop room. probably used to be a loft area, pretty small room. Its nowhere near any restaurants or stores. Parking is small. might fit 4 or 5 cars there if lucky i ended up parking on the side.

I was looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay for a night and The Wimblehurst ticked all of the boxes. The room was clean and plenty big enough, ensuite bathroom, able to gain access in the early hours, lovely cooked breakfast in the morning and check out time was generous. I would stay again

Staff were excellent and breakfast good. Room itself is very tired, old furniture, staining water damage to ceiling, hole in window net curtain but all is clean. Money needs to be spent on upgrade Outsidd sign offers meals and licensed but that was years ago seemingly!

Room 3. Comfortable twin beds with en-suite shower room. Lovely & quiet at the back of the house with a view of the garden. Not the most powerful shower but the water was lovely & hot. Good choice for breakfast served by an efficient but quite elderly gentleman, who was quite quiet & didn't interact with the guests any more than he had to. I would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again if I needed to stay overnight in the Horsham area.

Very helpful and attentive owners. Rooms very clean (but not some of the corridor carpets). Did not try restaurant, but small very reasonably priced bar was opened. Gardens looked like an excellent place to sit out in over summer. Breakfast eggs and sausages could be improved. Bacon wonderful. WI FI does not work in all upstairs rooms Very very dated interior, lighting in room totally inadequate. Breakfast mediocre. Biggest issue is the busy road at the from of the house. The hotel is not set back from this, so very noisy with window open (No AC) Room Tip: Do not get room at front of hotel !!!!!
