If you prefer a hotel that is quiet, the Wychwood is the one. Set alongside the golf course with great views across the countryside (ask for a room on the first floor overlooking the golf course though).

Was the room nice, clean, warm the bathroom spotless tidy. The bed very comfortable and prepared trail for the possibility if you want to drink tea or caffee completely free. The receptionist lady Diana very friendly, helpful and the stuff in the bar, kitchen absolutely star members. Very kind, quick with help and ready to help. The food was very delicious, and the cake dessert one of the most delicious cake I evet ate. Definitely I would recommend if you go to Crewe to go to this hotel. I was prepared to have a relaxing sauna and jaccusi but unfortunately they don't have this facility. Hopefully when they will soon renovate the hotel that could be a great thinks to make the costumers can relax even more.

Dated hotel in much need of refurbishment”

Bedrooms very tired and a lot of the facilities were not in use (lunchtime food in Claret Bar, Bar in hotel etc) which we did not know about. Hotel in much need of refurbishment! Set menu for dinner with poor choice meant we took a taxi to a local pub where we had excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend The White Lion near Weston. We won't be staying at Wychwood Park again until improvements are made!

We attended this venue for a wedding, after reading alot of negative reviews on different sites, I wasnt sure what to expect. The place looked lovely when we arrived, very open and spacious inside too, we only used certain parts of the hotel but what we saw was nice. The corridors and rooms were basic, andwell used, but clean. Staff were friendly. The food our party ate was mainly very good (my veg lasagne was lovely!) Drinks are very expensive!!!! But it was a one off and all in all a lovely stay.

Booked here for one night as visiting friends in the area. The facilities were very good with everything we needed. Room was clean and spacious enough. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Location great and being on a golf course gave great views. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic service at this hotel”

we stay at this hotel a lot and are never disappointed. nothing is too much trouble for the staff on reception, in the restaurant or the cleaning staff. all very professional, but friendly at the same time. we look forward to stayign again in february.

Beautiful views”

Lovely hotel and staff. Food was excellent and was very peaceful. Was a bit secluded for people who like to venture off to different bars and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay here.

When we arrive we were greeted with smile and helpfull coments from the reception people, we got into our room and it was great to have lots of space and all the facilities we needed.

Wedding party”

Nice clean rooms, didn't get a breakfast as we forgot it was a Sunday night stay and overslept for the week day timings, so cannot comment on the food. The evening buffet at the wedding was very nice.

Run down and scruffy”

I arrived to a cold, shabby room, ripped curtains, worn away top coat of paint on side table and desk, black grout in places in bathroom and the sink area all marked and stained. Room was freezing and I called reception to say the heater wouldn’t work she said I can’t fix it, come back down I’ll give you another key! Second room the same rubbish! I went the get a tea bag from the complementary self serve drinks area and the guy was cleaning out the coffee machine, he continued to ask me what I want I said peppermint tea but I’ll look for it in the basket he stood in front of me and said no we dont have that! I said I’ll look for something else on the second basket not stood with him blocking it and he said no whats on this side is the same in the second box! Rude I just wanted to look for a fruit tea before bed! The night before I’d stayed in the travel lodge so coming here was going to be a step up but it was not! Gone back to travel lodge

The hotel was generally good, but in need of refurbishment. The carpet in the common areas and our bedroom were rippled and in danger of becoming a trip hazard. The fittings and decoration in the bedroom are in need of upgrading. If this work is undertaken, then the hotel would be great, as the location and feel of space is good. The free drinks in the reception were a really nice touch.

Slightly Disappointing”

The general layout of the hotel/grounds and the friendliness of staff was good. However, items missing from rooms or not working properly, together with dirty breakfast plates resulted in a less than positive impression of this hotel. Disappointing after a very enjoyable couple of nights.

No leisure facilities, restaurant felt like a cafe, kids running round, shouting, food and drinks were expensive, £87 for two steaks, ( no starters or desserts) two double gin and tonics and two single baileys, room wasn’t the cleanest, hair on the bed side tables and on the floor of the bathrooms, mild on the tiles and around the hinges of the shower screen. Very nice surrounding area but hotel didn’t match it

Should be a posh hotel. The bed wasn't even made properly only 3 pillows on double bed. Varnish peeling off furniture

Food is disgusting”

The quality of food at this hotel is shocking. Breakfast was absolutely awful and the service even worse. Sat in there for 20 minutes and not one waitress came up and offered any tea or coffee.

Breakfast warm and tasteless. Bar devoid of atmosphere. Error in Agoda online booking system led to booking date confusion and consequent non-refundable over payment.
