Great views of sunrise from the rooms and from the breakfast room! Super clean. Nice free perks in the room. Well done onsen w/ massage chairs. Super friendly staff. The buffet breakfast offers food from Japan and around the world that is fresh and very well done. It was so hard to not over eat. Convenient location to hit both the north and south sides of the island and easy access to dinner options (fabulous sushi in walking distance and a downtown about 10 minutes away with several great local restaurants). A little pricey compared to what you can get in Kyoto, but given the island location it's still worth it by far!

Nice stay”
Had a very nice stay. Location is convenient next to the bus stop and rooms are very spacious. The staff didn’t speak too much English but they were super friendly so communication was possible. Breakfast was okay with a lovely view. The hotel has an onsen that you can use for free. The complex is a bit dated but very clean and well maintained.

Great option on Yakushima”
Options on Yakushima are limited but I had a great stay here. It's not exactly a resort, but does have a lovely garden, a sea view, and a public bath (though not an onsen). The place was fairly empty in the rainy season and I interacted quite a bit with the staff, who were very friendly. Location between Miyanoura and Anbo is slightly awkward but it is served by a relatively frequent bus that stops nearby.

Some younger staff are very helpful as I cannot speak Japanese very well while some senior staff tends to be a bit impatient. I wasn’t feeling very confortable while they arrange my futon during house keeping but just throw my PJ on the floor like a punch of dirty clothes. Have room for improvements definitely

Beautiful hotel with incredible view of the sea; 5 minutes from Anbo port. Breakfast is fantastic, japanese style, and dinner menu is gastronomic, again, japenese style. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The boutique has every Yakushima product you can imagine. And, it's Yakushima, one of the most beautiful places on earth...

Really helpful and friendly staff”
We are asking for options to go to the Anbo port. The front desk staff (lady who speaks fluent English) is patient with us. In the end, we walk from hotel to the port in the early morning (20 minutes) to catch the 7 am ferry. Another lady staff in the hotel resturant will tell us every dish serve at breakfast and dinner, namely ingredients, sauce etc

Extended stay due to Typhoon Noru”
The hotel is at the outskirts of Anbou, but a grocery store and a rent-a-car are just across the street. A bus stop is also very close. The staff don't speak English but they are very helpful. The food is very traditional Japanese. A great place to stay for someone who appreciates the real Japanese experience.

Staff are nice and helpful. Rooms are quiet and clean. Hot bath caters to need for warming of body after soaked in rain and soring legs. Food is quite good and other choices around are available too.

Really enjoyed my 4-night stay here. The setting, room, staff, hot spring bath, dinner & breakfast, cleanliness… everything was top notch. Quite far from the airport if you don’t rent a car but the view is just worth it. Bus service is limited but reliable. I’d love to revisit!

コスパは良いと思います。スタッフの対応もよかったです。 今回素泊まりだったので、夕飯をつければよかったと思いました。 近所に数件レストラン、食事処がありますが予約しないと無理です。予約無しで行ったときの対応も殿様的なところがありました。 2キロくらい離れたところが安房の中心部なのでそこまで毎日行くことになりました。 車で移動できるならいいですが車を手配しないと不便です。

静かな丘の中腹にあるコテージ！”
空港から宮之浦に向かう途中の山側へ５、６分車で入った場所にあるコテージ。滞在には、必要不可欠な物は、全て揃っていて不自由なく気軽に過ごせる。案内看板等がわかりやすいと良いが、Googlemapでも探して行ける。個人的に気に入ったので、屋久島滞在では、再度の訪問をしたい。
