Hotel is very well maintained with caring & efficient Staff. Great view from our rooms. When Our Son was sick for a night we only enquired abt the medical facilities available in Lachung - just in case. But the front desk went the extra mile & gave us some necessary medicines. The kitchen prepared a light meal especially for him as his stomach wasn't yet ready to enjoy the Indian buffet. Fantastic experience at Yarlam !!

Stay was excellent. Recommend Yarlam as the best resort in Lachung, both ,ameneties wise and staff service and warmth. The quality and variety of food can be improved but considering the desolate location the frugality of the menu is understandable. I would definitely come back here once the roads improve.

Superb”
From reading past reviews, previous guests I think can only be described as being a bit precious. We travelled for some 4 hours on some roads that were terrifying to say the least. Thankfully our very skilled driver who seemed never rattled or fazed delivered us safely to this hotel intact. In Gangtok, my wife’s fluent Bengali and our English were next to useless. Fortunately at this hotel the staff’s English was impeccable, the service fantastic and everyone was so friendly. The food was beautiful and the staff were disappointed we did not eat enough at the buffet. A fantastic place to stay and the surrounding countryside and mountains simply breathtaking. I recommend this place without reservation keeping in mind how hard it is to get there and given its remoteness - this hotel delivers....

Fantastic! Nature in its best glory.”
Our stay did not start well. The hotel did not allocate room as per our voucher, I.e. Deluxe Valley view room. It is only after much argument that we were allocated the selected room. Hence our stay did not start well. Howsoever we were given the right room our stay was pleasant. Also the hotel needs to improve the quality and choice of food.

Good stay, good fascilities, heater provided, but frequent power failure and when generator is on heater cannnot work.I have been charged extra for vally view but the view behind my room no. 302 was only electrical sub station view so i felt cheated. when asked at the front desk they say our all rooms on wnd and 3rd floor are view room (they were afraid to ssy vally view)but hotel could not do anything, further we were given 3rd floor inspite of my wife was having leg muscle pain problem, but hotel could not do anything. Climbing 3rd floor at this height is a painful experience.I do not know the reason but sleep comfort was only 35%. Bathrooms r small.

hotel is good considering the remote location. there is not much to do apart from relaxing. however, there is no connectivity at all except for bsnl which may also go down anytime. hotel does not have any land line too.

As much we are paying, facilities are average. Hot water for limited hours i.e. no geasure. Staff is well manner and service is good.

Only drawback is poor variety, choice in food as well as no great taste. Also staff need to be more communicative, informative and enthusiastic. Spa or massage facility would be added advantage. Otherwise nice stay to relax and enjoy beauty of surrounding nature.
