Good value of money in the city center”
We stayed in the room for 4 people. Hostel is good, clean. Staff is helpful. Breakfast costs 6.25 pounds, it is ok, British style food. The towel you should take on reception for 2 pounds, hair dryer - 5 pounds (but I used the dryer for hands in the toiled instead). St Pauls cathedral's bells are chiming every hour/30 mins/15 mins at night and you can hear that in your room if your window is opened. One negative thing: water boiler was broken Sunday morning so I needed to wash my hair in cold water but I suppose it does not happen on regular basis.

Dear Olga, Thank you for staying with us and a great review. We do apologize for the sudden break down of the boiler. You are right, that does not happen often. Thank you for understanding. Kes
Good stay in a nice position”
Really nice building and hostel with almost everything in it! The room was really spacious, quite clean and nice, with window for fresh air and 3 washbasins, common bathrooms all around the floor.. Each bed has a socket, 2 usb plugs and its own light. There is also a common area with couches where you can rest and relax. They organise free walking tours, and they have good suggestions for everything in the city! The hostel is near Blackfriars stations (less than 5 minutes walking). The staff is really nice and helpful and they are always there for the whole day ready to help you. It was a really nice stay in this hostel and when I will come back to London I will go again there for sure!

Close to train station. 2 minutes walk from St Paul's Cathedral.”
Pros: Nice old London area. 10 minute (or less) from the Underground station Blackfriar or St Pauls. Luggage storage at on £2 each time. Self service laundry available. Room, shower, and toilet are clean. Buffet English breakfast at £5.25 per person. Con: Room, shower, and toilet is very old (but clean). There is no elevator or disable access due to old building. For $125 p/night for private room with shared shower and toilet is not worth it. You can find better room with private bathroom at that price else where.

Good location. 5 mins walk to St Paul Catheral & underground Rooms and washrooms are clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Don't worry of charging your phones, cameras, powerbanks etc. There are plenty of plugs available. One thing of staying here is you have to bear with the church bells. It rings quite frequent, almost once every half and hour even in the middle of the night. So you'll have to get earplug if you couldn't stand the noise. Overall is pretty good. Would recommend friends to stay.

Thank you so much Yan. We are glad you had a pleasant stay at our hostel. The church bells do ring a lot, they've just become a norm for us now. We hope to have you stay with us soon. Kind regards, Winnie
Great value in London City area.”
Very budget friendly stay in an expensive area. St Paul's, London Visitor Center, shops, pubs and great food steps away from the hostel.

Great place to stay with reasonable price!”
Quiet neighborhood but located in the center of London, walking distance to the tube station, many shops and restaurants nearby. Stuff are friendly, and you can store the luggage temporarily in the room free of charge - this was really helpful for me, because I arrived much earlier than check-in time with large luggage. I will not hesitate to recommend here for those who want stay a while in London! Room of improvement: Wifi is weak even in the public area

Excellent”
The best is the location near St Paul's cathedral. Very clean, the cathedral bell was not very loud and not annoying. I used the free ironing service, the laundry costs 3 pounds, and the luggage storage for 2 pounds. You have to keep 1 pounds coins with you. The drawbacks that there is no WiFi in the rooms, also poor connection even in the reception. And I wish there was a shared kitchen.

Hi Mai! Thanks for your lovely review. Glad to see you enjoyed our wonderful location, and the atmosphere that comes with being so close to the Cathedral (and its bells!) Sorry to hear that you had to endure poor wifi connection, and we will look into why this was the case. Thanks again for your review :)
Good”
The area is noisy even at night (trucks, people, etc) so not good for light sleepers but the location is good, short walk to buses and underground stations. The breakfast is very good (not included). Very nice staff, always happy to help! The cleaning team does a great job keeping everything spotless. The lounge area is great. The downside is that you feel like you're staying in a school more than in a hostel because there is always at least 1 school group staying, usually more than one, so if you want to eat or relax in the dinning area when they are eating it gets very noisy with dozens of kids talking loud.

Budget hostel with convenient location”
Good location. One of the evening staff (looks like Asian descent) was very helpful & polite. I picked this hostel because of low price (in Lonndon) and location. Location is very good. Many buses go to main tourist attractions, near to Tube too.

Good”
The best thing about this hostel is its location - it is perfectly located within walking distance from some major sights in London and also has underground connection nearby. It is clear, however that the hostel needs to be re-touched and updated a little. First of all, the internet connection is horrible - officially it is only in the common area but even there it is unreliable, stops working and one needs to reconnect constantly. We were "lucky" to also catch it in the room but again with very poor and unreliable connection. Beyond that, the bathrooms are a bit outdated, with some rust stains and smell of dampness. One of the mornings water just would not heat up and I spent 10 minutes standing under cold water (and then running from bathroom to bathroom to find out that it was a heater issue) and eventually had to go on with the day without taking a proper shower. The bed was okay but the rooms, hallways, etc. do need to be refreshed a little.

Hi Mikheil, thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed our location. We are currently in the middle of upgrading our internet connection, and always provide free wifi for our guests (which some other London hostels charge for.) We are sorry to hear you encountered an issue with the showers. This was fixed as quickly as possible, but we understand that it was inconvenient for you and we apologise for this. Once again, thank you for the feedback.
Catering”
Since no self catering facilities it would be helpful if a tea and toast breakfast was included in the price or at a minimal charge in price of room and free tea and coffee at all times like most other hostels I've been in.

Overall very good eepeience. Might suggest they designate a table in dining room for people who want to talk/mingle with each while they eat. A “social table”.

Great location, friendly staff, but...”
Location and staff 10/10, but it’s the luck of the draw with your roommates - I had a loud snorer and s group that arrived noisily at 2am and switched on the lights. No good night’s sleep guarantees here.

Good hostel in old London”
Excellent location, and decent facilities. But staff could be more proactive in helping process the crowd of guests forming in front of the checkout desks in the morning!

Dear Jay, Thank you for staying with us and your review. Glad you did like our excellent location and facilities. We are sorry if you had to experience a delay to check-out. This is not something that happens often, most likely it was just a case of everyone including groups coming at the same time. Kes
