Beautiful grounds ”

Helpful staff, beautiful views shame we didn’t have the lovely views from our room. Wooden bunk beds was a lilttle disappointment due to the lack of socket plugs attached to the beds. Family of four with one socket was difficult but managed. Not the cleanest of yha we stayed in. Overall good stay.

Clean and Good Location”

there is conveniently located hotel in windermere, at yha windermere hotel, the very good service. our family stayed there on our long holiday in uk. the accommodation was clean and very modern.

Excellent”

The way to the hostel is so far, unless you have a car to drive up the hill, it takes about 20 min from the bus station up the hill to the hostel. Yet the staff are nice, the view is great, others are also really good!

Suitable for self-drive trips”

We were travelling as a couple and had booked a double room in the hotel. The room was small but clean and had a washbasin in the room. The communal bathroom and toilet were also clean. The sound insulation between the rooms was average. The biggest problem was that the flat was quite far from the main road. Not suitable for people on foot. It takes about 20 minutes or so to walk to get there. At night there are no lights and you can miss them if you are not careful.

Was there for 2 days and couldn't fault the place! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the views around the hostel were unreal. Will definitely be staying again.

Exceptional”

Location is perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend break. Clean facilities and friendly staff. View from our window is amazing overlooking the mountains and the lake.

Great Stay”

Great location and close to everything but not great walking distance with kids. So driving is needed. Lovely breakfast. All staff friendly. Hope to return!

Great base for Lakes holiday”

Great all round accommodation if you are on a budget and want to enjoy the Lakes. Good to have a car as the hostel is out of town and up hill but this gives amazing views over Windermere.

First time to a YHA”

First time staying in a YHA so I can't compare it to others but I'd certainly recommend it based on my experience. For the price it's fantastic. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Views from the terrace are amazing.

４人部屋の貸切でしたが、値段も手ごろで、清潔でした。庭からは湖も見え、YHAのある丘を下ったところのコンビニ(SPA)で冷食などを買い込んで、キッチンで調理することもでき、節約旅行には最高の環境でした。

場所がわかりにくい”

Ｇｏｏｇｌｅ　ｍａｐで見つけにくく、相当道に迷った。施設自体は普通のユースホステル。

駅からは近くはありませんが、徒歩1時間くらいで着きます(笑)YHAから徒歩20分の所に一番近いスーパーがあります。大自然に囲まれた、素敵なYHAです!!家族連れが多く、スタッフも親切でした。シャワーやトイレはたくさんあったので、とても使いやすかったです。なんといっても、キッチンがきれいで使いやすかったので、毎晩料理を作りました♪
