Very convienient location.”
First off, i like to recommend this hostel just based on the location. It is conveniently located about 10 mins walk from the JR Kannai Station and right beside the Yokohama Stadium. This location allows you to easily reach many of the important tourist spots in Yokohama. The hostel itself is new and has an excellent Kitchen. You can even cook your own meal with the stove and the many rice cookers! Breakfast is served for free. Though simple, the toast, coffee and tea gave me a good start on the day. The owner of the hostel speaks English and is always available to help tourist new to Yokohama. Overall, i enjoy my stay in this hostel.

Great first experience in Japan. Great Owner ”
Great value for money ! 20€ a night is ok for Japan. I paid a lot more in the center of Tokyo and didn't get so much fun than here! The owner Taka was friendly and assist me how to use the metro and told me the best of Yokohama! The hostel is new ! he opened it 4 months ago and beds and amenities are new. Japanese toilets were fun to use! Living room with a big tatami and sofa! A kitchen is available for guests. only 1 cons during my short stay a group of Nepalese or Pakistan/Indian people stayed there and at dinner time was smelling curry & onion in the kitchen and the hallway. Also, watching musical DVDs from their country. Not very Japanese atmosphere! Otherwise Great stay with a owner trying to do his best !!! will be back there!

Minimalist, but surprisingly sufficient”
Very small place. One small corridor with a several rooms. Have to climb some steep stairs to get there. Showers are very small, but they work. Staff could be slightly better in English, but good enough. Very clean. Beds have curtains, and it's almost a whole room inside there for you. Breakfast is very minimal, so it might be better to get something from Lawson downstairs. Don't expect much, but the stuff that is in there is good enough. Good if you're on a budget. Location is next to the baseball stadium, located just nextdoor from chinatown and the more "traditional" part of Yokohama. The modern Yokohama, Minato Mirai, is 30 minutes away by foot.

Pretty good value for money ”
Staff were very helpful. The facilities were clean. LOCATION FABULOUS! Room was clean, and nice. Enjoyed the bed. Free breakfast (2 pieces of bread) very nice. Only complaint--the place is a hostel/hotel for long term stayers, and I really wanted to meet other English speaking travelers, but that's more my fault for not speaking Japanese.

Exceptional”
This hostel has friendly staff and is a good place to meet other travelers and locals. There are many long-term and repeat guests here. They provide free tea and coffee 24-hours and free breakfast (toast). The location is very good and its right next to Chinatown, the stadium, many convenience stores, Starbucks, and walking distance to Minato Mirai.

Great price for a few nights”
Being on a tight budget but needing a place to stay almost cramped my travel plans. However, the hosts provided a clean and safe environment at an excellent price that fit well within my budget and was very close to where I wanted to be! I would totally stay here again.

for this price, I think it is acceptable. The staff are nice but the room looks quite gloomy due to no windows. Location is also good, just next to China Street.

it's just OK”
well, even though the hosts are nice and try to make sure you are well - that's important - the issue is that the room is quite small to move around and the layout of things a bit strange. Living room is simple but fine, kitchen good! Thanks a lot for the dripped coffee and origami, nice details for us!

Staff has no idea how to run a hostel ”
Staff unfriendly (believe me it's the first time I use "unfriendly" in Japan) They literally kicked me out after my check out. I couldn't use the kitchen or just stay in the common area! They don't speak english. By the way you have to climb 3 high floors (no elevator of course) with your luggage 'cause the reception is upstairs. Free breakfast but don't expect something big, just 2 slices of bread per guest. They just have no idea how to run an international hostel and be aware the check in is at 4:00pm

Very handy near China town and the stadium .Has a lot of stairs and no lift Helpful staff . Very small but has everything you need . You can use the kitchen to cook and beds comfortable
