This hotel was wonderful. We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was very comfortable. Onsen was great and the buffet was a perfect compliment. We traveled with small kids and had a great time. If traveling as a couple, it’s perfect for a relaxing weekend together. Highly recommend!!

Comfy hotel with spacious room”
Gyoen is a very comfy hotel. We were offered an ocean view semi western room. Room is in main building and kinda spacious for four of us. Two twins plus two futons are perfectly fit in. Buffet was delicious the first night with extra charged crab was a bit disappointed but food r overall good. However food was all the same the second day was a bit boring. Onsen is nice and luckily not many people. Sometimes I was just there by myself. Area is kinda far from city but self driving was fine.

A warm hotel in Shirahama. Lots of families and kids staying. Bingo game held at night after dinner time, gathering most residents in the lobby. Nice public bath. Highly recommended

Very cost efficient hotel”
Definitely a high cost efficient place to stay with. Large room for couples and families( but a bit large for single person, just kidding), with buffet dinner and breakfast included. What a great choice for you to stay in Shirahama!

Traditional Japanese Style”
If you are looking to stay in a traditional Japanese Style room, look no further. We regretted not staying here for more nights. There were onsen, outdoor hot foot bath for usage, and even complimentary massage chairs to soothe those aching muscles! Everyone is dressed in a complimentary yukata robe and their dinner buffet is pretty affordable for its range of food! Oh, did I not mention? Their tatami is ultra comfortable and we didn’t even wish to get out of bed the very next day! Three thumbs up!

Very pleasant stay at the Yukai Resort”
The place was crowded with families and children because of a holiday, but it was still nice, not bothersome and very quiet and dark at night. The onsens they have were relaxing, the facilities clean, the breakfast and dinner (included in the price) were copious and very japanese and delish... they also had Western foods for those that don't eat miso soup for breakfast..... I would go back there if I needed a good rest from the world.....

No actual photo can show me when I booked, quite disappointed of the room size and view. I find that only half price of what I paid if walk in. What a big different and high mark up of Agodia. So disappointed. But the dinner buffet is nice

Great staff and nice spread of buffet breakfast and dinner. Only down side is the hourly run bus that stopped right in front of the hotel, but can walk down further to another bus stop like 5 min away with more frequent bus rides.
