Location”
You need to get resort shuttle after railway. Dinner time and shuttle time were not flexible. The first night dinner was so little, luckily still had a bowl of rice at the end. Otherwise we would be hungry over night. 2nd night dinner was good. Breakfast price was expensive $2200 yen per person, not worth it

Great hotel location!”
Great hotel location, got a nice decent discount here so it was value for money! The only issue I encountered was that that all meals had to be pre-ordered. I didn't pre-order dinner when I made the booking as I was thinking of being spontaneous, bit I couldn't go out due to heavy downpour, so ended up eating the breads that I fortunately picked up on my way there. Oh, and there was also an unexpected 150yen charge for the use of public bath.

Good quiet hotel with ryokan feel”
Tiring walk up steep slopes if attempting from Gora station. Best to take bus to 3rd stop and walk horizontally across flat road to hotel. Every stop goes up a steep slope! Hotel has free coffee and drinks at lobby. Free message chairs at level 2. Our rooms come with a 45 mins private onsen each. But do wash up t the common bath first as its only onsen inside the room. MUST opt for the dinner! It's super worth it with many courses and taste great. Our 2 sets of adults can feed our 2 young kids too. Also can do extra order of their zuwaigani (snow crab) for 30k yen. It's a whole crab and great to share it's sweet meat. And hotel have free shuttle to Gora station only, and last timing is about 12pm, so do check with reception to book.

スタッフさんが丁寧で特にチェックアウト時にいたフロントの男性がとても丁寧で親しみやすく、こちらも笑顔になりました。 お部屋もお風呂も清潔でコストに対してパフォーマンスの高い宿です。 概ね満足ですが改善希望点は、 ①食事処の一番奥の部屋は蛍光灯の灯り、かつ民家のような照明なのでそっけなかったです。オレンジ色の照明に変更してはいかがでしょうか。 ②お風呂の終わり時間が24時と少し早く、もう少し遅いと助かります。 ③2日目の献立にメニュー一覧がなく何を食べているのかわからない状態が続きました。一覧があると嬉しいです。

初日は期待とは大きく違っていてアルコールも飲める気分ではなかった。それが翌日の食事は見違えるほど違って美味しくて大満足。連泊してよかったと思いました。酒を二つ頼んで最高の気分でした。朝食もおいしかった。スタッフは全員最高です。おもてなしの心が伝わってきました。お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。

食事はコロナを意識された大皿なしで味も申し分なかった。個室露天風呂を売りにしていたが、野外だったため雨に濡れて大変だったり、プレハブがギシギシして怖かったりと、頑張って修正した昔ながらの旅館という印象を受けた。一番気になったのはWi-Fiで、フロント周辺しか繋がらず、部屋では繋がらない仕様になっていたのが困った。USBの充電がなかったりと、現代のニーズに追いついてない気がする。

スタッフさんの対応は親切でした。また、お食事も美味しかったです。 8畳和室のお部屋を予約しました。お部屋に入って、正直ホームページの画像と違いすぎて驚きました。そして障子も汚れており、布団もすごく湿っていました。清潔感が感じられませんでした。 温泉も、シャワーが途中で出なくなりました。 また、コロナの対策としてということなので仕方ないことかもしれませんが、布団を自分で押し入れから出して敷かなければならなく、ご高齢の方には少し大変かと思いました。旅で疲れて、癒しの場として選んだのに自分でシーツを敷くところから始めるのか、、という気持ちになりました。 ランクアップしたいいお部屋を取れば違ったのかもしれませんが、ホームページを見て、宿泊を旅行で1番楽しみにしていたため少し残念な気持ちになりました。
