It’s beyond and above - worth every penny. -host is lovely, Staff is warm and helpful, offered and provided pick up and drop off to stations/ ride to ski area daily -Gears are professional/ well maintenance - room is cozy and in reasonable size. Quite well equipped - bathrooms and toilets are clean There is no lift but staircases are fine with us - we didn’t have breakfast but I heard it’s great (Japanese, not continental) Consider there isn’t a lot of shops/ restaurants in the area, I recommend you pre- request breakfast ;) A 10 out of 10! We will come back and visit next year :)

Best experience ever! Staffs are fantastic”
Yuzawa Ski House is about 10 mins walking distance. When you arrive to the station, head to East exit, go out and turn right, there is an information center (雪国観光社) for arranging pick-up. Staff would take you to your desired ski resort. Tickets sold at the shop are deeply discounted, some even to 50% off, highly recommended. Staffs are full of energy and glad to support. Breakfast is also great. Best experience of staying at budget place. Will go again next time!

Great value for money”
Yuwaza Ski House is located right across the road from the ski resort and about a ten min walk from the train station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They do offer a Japanese-style set breakfast (not buffet). They also offered to hold our luggage for us on the last day after checking out and helped dry our snow shoes each day. For guest they also offer free snow shoes to use during your stay.

Great staff, best location”
We stayed 2 nights here. It’s very good place for skiing trip. The room is Japanese style. Our room has stunning mountain view on the 4th floor. Two of best things here were the staff and location. Staff was excellent helpful and friendly, very impressed! The location was just few steps to Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway station. The hotel provides all ski gears for renting so it’s very convenient here. Only thing you have to be aware is the toilet and bathroom are sharing style and there is no elevator but staff was very helpful with luggage up and down on checkin/out time anyway. We recommended this place to stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Would definitely recommend to others! Just situated opposite Yuzawa Ski Resort and the owner is good enough to drop us off to the train station (it takes 15mins to walk)

Great service from the people at the ski house, always above and beyond to help us out. The ski hire provides a shuttle service to the nearby ski resorts and remember to ask for whether they have the lift pass for your ski resort location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the service offered by the staff. They made sure that our ski experience went smoothly, providing free shuttle service to the nearby ski resorts, and helping to dry our equipment after skiing. We also enjoyed a sumptuous Japanese breakfast every morning.

The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. They drive me at midnite to search milk for my son, and the next morning when I accidentally left my stroller after check out, they gladly deliver it to gala yuzawa.. the facilities are standard but clean,, it is a good value for money

There is no lift, good luck carrying if you have big luggage. The ski rental and lessons are much cheaper here. The heater in the room is great and I have a comfortable stay. Will stay here again.

Directly opposite Kogen Yuzawa ropeway. A short walk from the shinkansen station of Yuzawa. You may need to carry your own luggage bag up the staircase, no lift. You need to share the common toilet on the same floor but shower at the basement floor.

Cheap ski pass and rental. You can rent all gears at its ground floor with cheap price. They have shuttles taking you to different ski area. No lift is the bad thing but they are willing to help in taking the luggage

We arrived in the dark, wet and covered in mud, and they didn't bat an eyelid. Rooms and baths were perfect, and our shoes had been cleaned when we came down the next day. As we had all our camping gear, lift to the station was hugely appreciated. Highly recommended
