Good value for money & friendly staff”
Staff are friendly and accommodating. I asked to be transferred to another room because of a bad smell.. (I dunno where it was coming from) and they gladly moved me to another room. They are quick to respond to your requests. Complete toiletries. However, they don’t supply you with them everyday (I stayed for 4 days) unless you ask for them. I had to call them everyday for refill. The hotel is just near Metro shopping mall. Accessible to public transportation going downtown. And oh, wi-fi is strong. Perfect if you’re working online. (That’s the main reason actually why I booked a room with them). I wanted to stay until my last working day and requested for a late checkout (until 5pm). They said i just have to pay an extra 500 which was okay. However, they couldn’t guarantee my late check out. Really? Why? I was willing to pay the extra 500. They said there might be some guests that would check in that day. Yeah, I understand that but you’re accepting late check out for an extra pay. So what the heck? Lol! Anyway, there are other hotels in Tacloban. So i didn’t extend and looked for another place to stay. Overall, stay was good (except for the late check out thing, lol!)

BEST RESIDENCES / HOTEL”
Although they do not have elevator, their staff immediately help us carry our luggage on the third floor. Room was very clean. Since its a family room, it has 3 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, 1 guest room with 2 double beds and 1 room with single bed. All has its own Toilet & Bath which is very convenient for us since we are a group of 6 persons (all Adult). Very near also to Jollibee:), but the hotel offers ALL DAY DINING and it was prepared upon your order. Since we arrived around 7pm already, we ordered easy to cook meals complete with rice, eggs and drinks. Staff were very accommodating. Overall stay were very good and comfortable. I would definitely booked here again on my next visit and would recommend it to family and friends.

Good value for money, the rooms are clean. Location: Robinsons is accessible with one jeepney ride. There's also a Jollibee nearby. One jeepney ride to the airport as well. Rooms: Rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Shower and comfort rooms are clean. Hot/cold shower water available. Basic toiletries available. Staff: Staff from the front desk, to housekeeping, to security are all helpful. Will definitely book here again when I'm back in Tacloban.

Affordable yet comfortable”
Fast wifi. Clean rooms and linens. Hot shower. With toiletries and complimentary coffee and bottled water and electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy to commute to airport. My only cons is they dont have bidet or pail and dipper though they have bathroom tissue. But hey! I'm a filipino and I'm used to washing my ass and not just wiping it with tissue. :) But overall, we had a great stay.

It was worth the money. The place is clean and the shared area is great. I had a hard time with my luggage because I stayed on the 3rd floor but the staff helped so it was fine. The location is great as well. Metro Gaisano is just across the street.

March 2022 Visitor”
Room - I was told that the room assigned to me suddenly had a problem. They upgraded my single room reservation to a room with a queen size bed. It nearly matched the Holiday Inn room I had in KL in 2020, except for the toilet and bathroom. The bathoom-toilet area was small (for a small person like me). If you are more than 170 cm, and quite "fat", you would have difficulty fitting into the bathroom/toilet area. (I'm not fat though.) Overall, my room experience was satisfactory (4/5). Cleanliness and room smell - very satisfactory (4-5/5). Room service and food - satisfactory (4/5); my preferred drink was not available and I didn't like the other choices. Service of the staff - very satisfactory (5/5). On check-out, they booked me with the local transport system on a really rainy day. Thank you very much for their service. I really left them a good amount of tip. They deserved it. Location - Very satisfactory (5/5). The hotel is not in a very commercialized area of the city, but just across a newly opened mall. I was able to buy what I needed for the night, and was able to sleep well. Value for the price - Very satisfactory (5/5) Will I go back? - Yes. Thank you.

Wouldn't think twice to stay in Z Pad Residences again when I get back to Tacloban. The staff are friendly and the place is really nice! We booked the suite room and didn't expect too much but it exceeded our expectations. The breakfast is also nice with reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Best place to stay in Tacloban City”
Our first-time travel to Leyte was capped by an overnight stay at ZPad Residences. We were very much impressed by the space of the Z Suite and the service provided by staff upon check-in, meal requests, and assistance. Definitely coming back to ZPad. Salamat!

We stayed in a junior suite and the room was big enough for the three of us. With own small kitchen and living area inside the room and separate bedroom. The bedroom was big and clean. The bathroom was a little small but it was okay. However, after a few days, there is a bad smell in the bathroom which hopefully could be addressed. But overall, the stay was good. The staff was very accommodating especially Stephany from reception.

The room was clean and comfy. Initially, I was confused with their set up to have two (2) bedrooms (complete with toilet and bath) in one (1) room with common area. It was a bit weird to have a member of the opposite sex in the other room. Best to pair guests of the same sex.
