Just a 1-minute walk from Uwanodai Ski Resort, Zao Plaza Hotel features free WiFi and ski storage. Zao Onsen Bus Terminal is an 8-minute walk away, and free pick-up shuttles are provided when called from the terminal. The hotel boasts indoor and open-air hot spring baths where guests can unwind. Drinks vending machines are available on site, and ski equipment can be requested for a fee. Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room at Plaza Hotel Zao has a TV and a fridge. An electric kettle with tea leaves is also provided. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from JR Yamagata Station. Zao Ropeway is a 4-minute drive away. Lake Okama can be reached within a 50-minute drive. On-site restaurant Wing offers Japanese dinner featuring seasonal dishes including Beef shabushabu hot pot. Japanese breakfast is also served at the restaurant.

Very good location and services provided.”

Very good location as it is juz beside a ski centre with a ski school. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the 2 onsens so much. Great experience for me to try their open air onsen on a winter snowing day haha. One of the service provided that shocked me is they will drive you anytime to anywhere in Zao Area. I appreciate that so much. This Zao Trip is the great highlight of my japan trip!

Old hotel near the gondola”

An old hotel (in a good way) with pretty charming neighborhood and is just couple meters away from the gondola.. it's not exactly ski-in ski-out but it's the closest thing to it. Breakfast and dinner is properly japanese. Once you arrived at Zao bus station, make a call to the hotel so they can pick you up. I tried finding the hotel phone number and can't find it and it's a hard long walk in the snow to get to where the hotel is.

Above average”

Onsen is not good. It's very small and does not have shower zone and amenities. Public baht is dirty. Location is good and near ski lift. Staffs are helpful.

房間超大超讚，如果是冬天來看著窗外白雪紛飛的樣子一定超美 還有提供給酒鬼的冰啤酒冰箱 大眾池也很不錯，不過窗戶太高太悶，露天池有點簡陋，但也不錯 晚餐還不錯、早餐自助吧 因為藏王沒有很大，離那些景點都還近的，剛到車站可以打電話請他們來接，離開如果有順便也會幫忙送去車站

服務周到又親切”

就在滑雪場旁邊，附近就有雪具出租店，飯店也能提供各個纜車站的接駁服務，本來要坐計程車去藏王山麓纜車站，飯店櫃檯就主動告知可以提供接駁服務，真貼心！連住兩晚的晚餐菜色也不同，第一天是日式料理定食，第二晚是壽喜鍋，都很好吃！

離上之台滑雪場超近”

門口上方就是上之台雪場，旁邊有雪具租用店較雪場內便宜，飯店有提供租雪具及lift的折價卷，滑雪很方便。飯店日式早餐還不錯，有室內露天溫泉各一，最喜歡室外露天溫泉，超舒服。飯店人員很親切，有一、二個較年輕的人員會說簡單的英文。
