We had an amazing stay here. excellent location, close to good restaurants around the town. Room's spacious and clean with good AC and heated water. They have comfy bed and pillows. Will definitely book here again when in Guimaras.

We recently stayed at the Zemkamps Chalet. The hotel is conveniently located in the town of Jordan. We got a warm welcome. The owners take care of the guests in person. Our room was clean and spacious. The interior is in a good state and the aircondition worked fine. Zemkamps Chalet is a small hotel. Thus the atmosphere is relaxed and familiar. The breakfast was included in the rate. There are different choices between both Filipino and international breakfast meals. We enjoyed eating our breakfast while sitting in the beautiful garden of the hotel. Zemkamps Chalet has no own restaurant serving dinner. However that doesn't matter, as a nearby restaurant delivers excellent food upon request. A must try are the famous Guimaras mangoes. The staff will surely help you by organizing a trip to a farm or by organizing other activities like island hopping. We really enjoyed the stay at the Zemkamps Chalet and we can highly recommend it.

It was a good and relaxing 3-day stay. There was a "homey" feeling when my friends and I were at the hotel; staff were all nice and helpful. I'd love to go back in Guimaras someday and will consider to stay at Zemkamps Chalet again!

Don't come here!”
If you want to be treated like another number, do NOT come here. Otherwise, Christyne, her family, and staff will welcome you with open arms and warm hearts. You will feel like part of the family that hasn't come to visit this beautiful island of Guimaras ever. You will be treated like royalty and service second to none. If you want to disappear into the crowd, don't bother staying at Zemkamp's tranquil chalet in the middle of town. Highly recommended. Just be prepared for island-wide brownouts that commonly occur, but no worries because tgis place has its own generator.

Superb Customer Service”
We were welcomed very warmly, not just by the staff but by the owner's daughter herself. She's very willing to assist and suggested places to go and had her staff call/arrange for our ride. The place is very homey, with all the greens around, my kids love the place. The breakfast is great, too, truly satisfying. The place is walking distance to the Pit Stop where the famous mango pizza is, which is one of the reasons why we visited Guimaras. My daughter loves mangoes so much. I just hoped that the chalet is near the beach.

Best Stay”
We had the most amazing stay at Zemkamps! They make you feel like family, are so friendly and helpful! The room was lovely and had real blackout curtains so we slept really well. The shower was lovely hot and powerful. The breakfast was so tasty and big it filled us up until dinner time! We wish the staff all the best and would recommend to everyone!

Value for money accommodations with very friendly staff”
We had a wonderful stay at Zemkamps with my mom and 3-year old nephew. The room and facilities were clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and nice. I couldn't find a negative thing to say about the place and its staff, except that the property should have been located near the beach. Would love to stay here again!

Friendly staff, accessible, and clean room”
We have no complain with regards to their services to us during our short stay with them. Should we decide to go visit Guimaras again on their 25th Manggahan Festival next year, we surely will be making our reservations in this place. However, we hope that some of the TV channels will already have good reception and there will also be wifi connection inside the room.

Hospitable owners, good for the money.”
This is not exactly a resort or Chalet for a true vacation, the staff are great, good internet, Breakfast was provided, but this place lacks most of the basic services such as a full service restaurant and bar, or even a small fridge in the rooms. This is more like a private residence converted into a Chalet and there is not really much to do right in Jordan. The staff were extremely helpful and providing us what we needed and even provided us shuttle rides to few beach destinations. There is a family Dog and can be a bit annoying when barking starts up. If you want a cheap low budget place away from the beach this may be the place. Over all 2.5 stars. Recommendation to the property owner, might consider adding some amnesties to your place for your guests to enjoy, pool, dart board, ping pong table, maybe swimming pool, small in room fridge would be great also. I cant thank Krystine for her kind and warm hospitality, she went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible.

I would totally recommend this place to a friend. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. They helped with any inquiry I had. They were especially helpful when I came down with the flu. The place was so keen and right smack back in the middle of Jordan. I would definitely stay there again if I was to head to Jordan.

Great friendly hotel”
Located 9kms from the Jordan wharf, in a small, quiet, town, San Miguel. Great breakfast with pleanty of variety, but no dinners are available. Limited options on the street, vis PitStop restaurant across the road. Large room, but fuzzy cable tv. It is a good stepping stone to see the Guisi Lighthouse, built by the Spanish and second oldest lighthouse in the Philippines. A nice hotel for a quiet retreat. Friendly staff.

Very Promising”
Very comfortable. Ms. Krystine Palmes was very helpful and accomodating, even giving her contact number in case we run into any emergency while out exploring Guimaras. Only that they don't have a restaurant yet. But Ms. Palmes offered to order for us from outside and bring it to our room just like room service. So kind of her to inform us that food and other establishments start closing as early as 5 p.m., and that we should thus have an early dinner.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating owner and staff. The owner, MK, took the effort of explaining to us the point of interests in Guimaras. Cons: The place is far from the beach and places of must visit hence, van rental is a bit costly; No hair dryer; Noticed some kind of fly/moth inside the room.

Friendly owner and feels like home”
MJ, the owner has definitely instilled good hospitality practices with regards to this place and it feels exactly like a home because she lives in the same place as well. Showers are hot, room is really clean and TV channels are good. It is located along the main town stretch so it is very convenient to grab the jeepney to the port as well as to other places.

Walking distance from the Pitstop, home of the mango pizza! Also, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite when I only booked a solo room. Wi-Fi was weak from there though; I had to go out of the room to get a signal
