Awesome hotel”
Location of the hotel was convenient to food places, attractions and the train station. Hotel staff was very friendly and answered our queries. Even though we could not get a kettle in the room to boil water, the hotel staff delivered some hot water to our rooms whenever we requested. Odense is a really beautiful city. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

The hotel is situated in an old renovated building. It might have been an old school, as the windows are big and you get a "school feeling". Anyway the hotel is good. Big rooms and high ceiling. The fact that the hotel is situated on the egde of the citycentre, makes it quite but still close to restaurants and shopping

A lovely quaint corner to discover ”
My wife and I went to this hotel as part of a wedding team to a lovely couple, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quaint and historic this hotel looked and felt. We enjoyed the carefully put together interior of this hotel with images from Hans Christian Andersen's stories seen in some parts of the hotel - it almost became a game of hide & seek to spot these images. We also enjoyed the size of the room and how comfortable we felt during our stay. The surroundings were interesting - there was a mixture of an old world charm (Odensse was after all the birthplace of Mr.Andersen) and then there was the modern aspect of life in the form of bars, restaurants and shops that made the visit complete. It is a place where time slows down and you enjoy the simpler things in life. We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, although we found the pricing to be rather steep. Staff were just great - spoke well and were very attentive and might I say genuinely concerned for all our needs/concerns. It made all the difference as generally it is not often one gets such a level of attention from hotel staff in European hotels.

Var nok et flott hotell i sin tid. Har blitt endel slitt, maling skallet av i vi duer og på lister. Skitne vinduer. Når det er 4 stjernes hotell må man kunne forvente en vannkoker og kopper på rommet, som var oppgradert. Glass og kopper ble ikke tatt ut av stuepiken på morgenrunden. Helt normal frokost, grapefruitjucen var kraftig vannet ut. Parkeringsmuligheter ble elendig formidlet til oss og andre, nok så knotete velkomst. Men gode senger og perfekt beliggenhet. Ikke trafikk støy. Sjarmerende men slitt.
