Affordable price, good location ”
I am in Narita Express and I had just checked out Haru Hotel this morning. Me and my 2 female from High school have been visiting in Tokyo for 3 days and we needed to stay at reasonable and safe place for us. And we did it!! There are Family Mart, Seven Eleven, Don Quihotei and Mac Donald’s moreover it takes just 5 mins to JR Shin Ookubo subway station. We could walk to Shinjuku everyday (15min) and it was just fun. Staff were very nice and there is tiny bathtub in the bathroom, we enjoyed hot water. I usually sleep on the bed at home but it was quite fun to sleep on Japanese Tadami. It reminded me my young days. We love this place, very affordable, safe, good location. Thank you :)

Value for money. Room is small for 5 but it is so near to the hustle and bustle of shin-okubo. ”
Room enough for sleeping and shower purposes if you are not so particular about the living standard. Walk out to the room and you will see the hustle and bustle of shin-okubo. Countless good foods, drugstores, supermarket, 24h Donki, shop till you drop. Walk to Shinjuku in no time, everything is around you, super convenient

Great location in shinjuku but futon really not comfortable ”
Pros : the location is the best you can get, near the station shin okubo and all kind of shops right around. It was really easy getting around Cons : in one month sleeping in all kind of accommodation including dorms it was far from the most uncomfortable hotel. the futon to sleep on was really thin, at first we thought it was a blanket. It’s really short too , it’s was made for people of 1m60 to totally fit in. There was also a strange smell in the room.

Two sleepless nights”
I had stayed here for 7 nights ( June 1st to June 7th of 2019 ). before my flight back to the Philippines; however, there were two nights that I could not sleep due to the noises coming from the feet, TV, voice and dragging of suitcases of other guests from the second floor. I occupied room 103. The management should put additional carpet on the second floor in order to eliminate the unwanted noises. I just wanna extend my gratitude to Soo ( Su ), the Korean front desk officer, he was very helpful.

Close to Station, room was dusty”
Location is great, but room was dusty, old, windows could not be opened, futon was thin and hurt my back. I couldn't sleep for the first 3 days, and asked for extra pillows so I could sleep on the pillows. We had neighbours from China that were very noisy after 12am. I had to use my earphones so I would be able to sleep. Staff was nice and helpful, but they only available until 11pm. We couldn't complain about our noisy neighbours.

Good Location Terrible Hotel”
The Haru Hotel is located very closes to two stations, one on the Yamanote Line. An it is cheap, but those are the only good things I can say. The futons were terrible and dirty, the room was tiny, wallpaper was falling off the walls. The bathroom was so small and my friend who is somewhat taller, couldn’t fit in the shower. The door to the room didn’t close properly (there was always a little whole), same for the window. The room was almost always either too hot or to cold. The man at the reception is friendly and the Hotel is cheap and in a great location, but DO NOT expect any comfort whatsoever. We seriously considered changing to a Capsule Hotel upon arrival.

榻榻米式 老板人很好”
位置还不错，周围有711 , seven up, 离地铁JR新大久保站很近，离新宿，涩谷，明治神宫都很近。就是位置在一个巷子里，找的时候稍微有点费劲，但是找到之后发现交通很便利。柜台前还有各国语言的交通图，特别有用！日式榻榻米式住房，第一天晚上由于个人原因过了最迟入住时间00:00，一度很担心，但是00:30到的，老板还是出门办理了入住，很感动！老板不会中文，但是不妨碍沟通，洗漱用品都有，家庭房也很不错。走的时候才看到B1楼还有电脑TAT
