Great location, very pleasant staff”
The young lady at check in was very efficient and helpful. She gave us details about “sights to see” locations at walking distance. She was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and had an extremely friendly, down to earth aura. A different young lady at check out, was also very easy to work with. She made check out very simple and quick. Again, a very nice and personable young lady. Great experience.

Disappointing”
Not everything in St.Augustine is fun and functional. This tiny motel hasnt been updated in ages. We had noisy neighbors, a cramped bathroom and the sheets felt like tissue paper.

Not the cleanest hotel but it is in a great location. Short walk to a lot of places and has a trolley stop in the parking lot. I would come back but with my own linens.

The Room was very clean. Pictures were a little different than the place. I saw a fire pit but there was none. Day staff was very nice, 2nd shift not so. Grab and go breakfast so so. Yogurt bag with fruit and bar was good. Biscuit and gravy was terrible with hard biscuit and very little gravy. Coffee was very good. I felt was a little to far from the mainstream where all the action was.

Villa 1565”
Check in went very smoothly and was given a lot of information about the area including different means of getting around town. The suite was nicely appointed but did not have a dresser or a closet. A small coat closet was located in the sitting area with 4 hangers. Staff all were very friendly.

Pricing on room was not correct. Very frustrating situation ”
Instead of billing me for 2 consecutive days it charged me twice with to different prices. I had no choice on room that was wrong and the price was not accurate

COURTYARD PRETTY”
Room we were stuck in was a dark dungeon down a hallway dark hallway. One chair in room to sit on (dirty) but we had to put suitcase on it. Luggage rack (dirty) for other small suitcase. Not enough room for 2 people to get by each other to get to bathroom. Found bathroom faucet leaking and towels stored underneath were soaked! Mgr. immediately sent two maintenance guys (not sure how they both fit in bathroom) Mgr did not have another room available. Faucet replaced while we went out on a tour, came back - new faucet, however, plumbing underneath was leaking worse and had soaked the new towels! Pictures are deceiving. Courtyard was where we sat. No other vacancies so we stayed one night and then left!

Was happy I took a chance here at 1565 because it was well worth the price. The hotel has a great charm of old town even though it has been updated. The best part was the ceilings have to be at least ten feet high and the shower is so...………… big.

great spot and staff, good price but shabby”
This hotel is located right by the 'Fountain of Youth', 15 minute walk to the Historic district. The receptionist was really good and the maintenance guy fixed our blocked sink quick as you like. But it really is in need of a renovation, badly! The poor cleaning staff just cannot get it clean, just walking back to the bed after a shower made the soles of my feet dirty enough to have to go back and clean them again. It is priced to account for the shabbiness and it is near enough to town so the sub-par breakfast can be avoided. Wear your flip-flops in the room and be happy with the great price for the location.

Good for the price”
We stayed in a nice renovated room and the hotel was located next to the fountain of youth. The trolley tours stop right at the hotel for easy access and the city is easy to navigate from the hotel.

This was a great spot for sightseeing and it had a good breakfast, very clean and the staff was very friendly, the property was very clean and historic looking, you can catch the trolley or the train right on the property. I will definitely stay here again "great bang for the buck"
