Subarashii!”
Stayed here at the regular capsule for 3 nights and it was an amazing experience. Location was perfect! Nearest subways station is Tawaramichi station, a good 5 minute walk away. This station is on the Ginza line and lets you go straight to Shibuya and also connects to various areas like Harajuku, Shinjuku and Akihabara via different transfer stations. Very gracious with their free coffee and tea at their amazing common area. Can also cook food at their kitchen. PC's are also available, and you can also ask the staff to print out documents just in case you may need to. Capsules were spacious, linens were clean as well. Guests are provided locks for their luggage and the area for it is real spacious so you would have no problems packing your stuff. No curfew as the staff would give you the access code for the main door so you can still travel around late at night or early mornings. Staff were really really great, accommodating and friendly. They also speak English very well!

Peaceful place to stay in Asakusa”
Our first 2 nights were spent in Khaosan Tokyo Samurai. Booked this coz of the excellent reviews. And I think, it did not disappoint me. Even the rooms or beds don't have lock, just a curtain to cover but I felt safe and slept well. The place is close to restaurants, convenience stores, train stations, Sensoji Temple, Namisake Shopping Street, Don Quijote. The Skytree can also be seen from here. The staff are friendly & helpful. We had a great time eating our breakfast at the 5th floor. It is very relaxing as well. You can chill at the lounge there. One thing I hope can change is that they don't provide towels for free. Instead, you need to rent for 50yen. But still, this is a place I want to stay again in Tokyo and I will recommend to everyone. Plus, we were able to witness the local festival 2 blocks away. Great right? ☺️

Everything a Backpacker Needs”
Location is within walking distance from Senso-ji temple, with lots of shopping and food sampling opportunities along the way. A particularly happening street at night is nearby. Practically next to Tsukuba Express Asakusa station, Tawaramachi station is a little farther, and within walking distance of Tobu Asakusa station if one is intending to visit Nikko. Kappabashi is also nearby. Has coin-operated laundry facilities and drinks vending machine. Staff speaks English well. Practical and comfy.

This was my third time booking at the Khaosan Tokyo Sumurai. I enjoy the staff and their wonderful commitment to serving the needs of my stay, plus meeting other world travelers, which is the reason I rather stay at hostels than other venues. I will definitely booked there again when I come back to Japan and stay in Asakusa.

I stayed on the last days of my journey in this hostel. It was a great experience. The staff is very helpful and polite. I got the opportunity to join a monitoring tour on my last day thanks to this hostel as well. I would recommend to everyone to stay in this establishment.

Great location”
Fantastic location in our fave area, Asakusa, very short walk to Sensoji Temple and heaps of restaurants and shops. We stayed in a private room with bunks. Unfortunately there was a smell from the bathroom for most of our stay and the beds were uncomfortable, though that is also typical of hostels in Japan.Staff were lovely and we enjoyed using the communal area.

The staff is friendly, the location is near to train, convenience store, and many tourism spots. The room is clean, toilet super clean, but I was given the bottom side of capsule room so when someone walk past my room I could easily heard their footsteps. It could bother someone who has a sleep problem. Other than that was OK.

As a solo traveler, I want a comfy place for a cheap price anf that's exactly what this place offer. They have really nice kitchen and common area. They offer free tea and coffee and cook if you want to. Also, you can do your laundry for some coins. It is located near a lot of spots in Asakusa.

Perfect for a short solo trip”
If you have to visit Tokyo on a short trip and just need to a place to sleep. This is a decent place. The facility was clean. The staffs were nice. Close to Asakusa Temple and other sights. It may not be for people who are not used to sleeping in a bank bed or a narrow space, but I think spacious enough to just sleep after sightseeing. Only things I wished they had were international cashless payment such as Apple Pay and a SMS communication option. I was busy sightseeing a whole day and only check email once a day and all email notifications are turned off so I missed emails from the hostel because I was arriving late so the hostel had contacted me via email. Wish they or Agoda had an option to send a notification via SMS.

Unbeatable Location”
Airport shuttle departs right next to the hostel which is a very big convenience if you are catching a super early flight (I caught the 3:25am shuttle for my 6:35am flight at Haneda). Hostel is easy to find with basically all the minimums you'll need though not a particularly awesome hostel. Biggest thing I hated was they provide no hooks inside the room except one outside your bed and two hangers inside your cubicle so it could be a big headache in winter when you have clothes to hang and the bath towel which is wet and won't accommodate inside your cubicle. Staff speaks English and Cantonese and were helpful.

Hostel a bit squeezy and bed not so comfortable”
I was in the 6-bed suite. Overall maintenance of the room was good, there was a snack corner and the bathroom is comfy. However, there were traces of dirt here and there, and the mattress was not very comfortable.

Good location for most tourist spots, good value for money, friendly staff”
We slept in separate "capsules" but they were very spacious. The facilities were good and neat. Quite a few places to eat nearby, as well as a few convenience stores that are 24 hrs. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

It's okay”
It's a little run down. Gets pretty stuffy in the dorms. They don't provide free towels so you need to rent one. Only one toilet for each gender on each floor. Location is great however.

前台英语ok，住了一楼的六人女生间，靠近大门稍微有点吵不过哪有不吵的青旅对吧（笑）。床的隔间可以上锁，没有行李柜只有锁行李箱的链条锁。卫生间备品很全，床铺也很软，有一点小的缺陷是床上拉上帘子之后通风非常不好，甚至有点闷热 还有酒店靠近的是筑波快线的浅草站，不要走错了QaQ

除了位置有点远，晚上有人出入比较吵以外，其他都很好”
这个位置离地铁站有点远，每次都至少要走15mins。然后安排给我的床刚好对着房间门，凌晨1,2点还是有人出入，早上5点又开始有人出入。。。吵到我几乎整晚没睡。。。 除了这2个点，其他都很好。服务很好，前台都能说很好的英文，很热情。公共区域特别赞，都是典型的日式风格。洗手间冲凉房都很干净，很方便。如果床能安排在里面，估计会好很多很多。适合单独旅行的男生或者女生，很安全。 very nice service, the receptionists can speak fluent English which is very important and not often can meet. everywhere is very clean including bathroom, showroom. Love the common place living room. it's typical Japanese style decoration, u will feel its culture just sit there and drink a tea. oh, the tea and coffee are free. U can cook by urself there as well, very convenient. Apart from the location is a bit far from the station like 15mins walking, and if u'r bad luck like me that got a bed near the door to make u not able to sleep well, nothing i can complain. anyway, it's a good price, safe, clean and suitable for solo traveler.

旅店的员工服务超好”
订的时候是女生宿舍，来到竟然是混合男女宿舍，有点不习惯。有一件事令我非常感激这里的员工，退房的时候因为行李超多，一个人无法拿得起，因本人只讲中文，不懂英语日语，这里的员工还帮忙打电话邮寄行李到机场，其中一位员工亲自带我到附近的71店邮寄行李，直到我要坐地铁才放心离去，在这里我再次多谢各位员工，后会有期。
