Location, location, STAFF!!!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shadow Ridge Hotel over New Years. Unless you were staying AT PCMR, you literally couldn't be closer! It is about a 2 minute walk and that is if it is snowing, you are in ski boots and carrying 2 people's skis. As far as the accommodations go, there is nothing that we needed in our room that we didn't have. And if we did decide that we wanted it, they had it at the front desk. Now to the best part... the staff! Honestly, I'm not sure that we have stayed anywhere with as nice a staff as the staff at Shadow Ridge. Seriously. Every time we walked by they wished us a great day on the slopes or asked us where we were going. When we needed something, they went above and beyond. They were absolutely the best! They even called us by name when we were waiting for our transportation to head home. I couldn't have asked for more! 100% we will be back!

I booked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest I could find in Park City, I was pleasantly surprised. I came for a concert, and ended up wishing I had spent another night here. Huge shower, large room, awesome pool, fitness center, you could walk to the ski lifts if you wanted. The room was so clean too. I always worry about hotels, but this hotel looked immaculate. My only complaint was that there isn't really a place to eat. If you bring your own food there are chairs, but not really a table. Didn't change how nice it all was though. Downtown was only a few minutes away, and there were shuttles to get you there. I am already looking at booking it again later this year.

We were originally put in the wrong room, but they upgraded us for free. The staff was very nice. The condo was very clean and bright. The hotel is centrally located for restaurants, massage, and shopping. On the negative side, the carpeting was pretty old and in need of a good cleaning. There was a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling in our room. And we were expecting a big tub. It was a normal shower/tub combo with a very ollllld shower head. Not exactly the romantic tub we wanted but we had a great time anyway!

Disappointing”

When we checked into our 1st room, it wasn't even a clean room, the beds, the bathroom, garbage cans, nothing was clean. When we returned to the check-in desk and told them, there were no apologies, no what can we do for the inconvenience just assigned us another room. When we checked out to leave the manager happen to be there so we told her and again no apologies, no nothing all she said was well you got a better room. My opinion is why didn't I get the better clean room the 1st time.

Uncomfortable and broken”

No hot water, furniture was rickety, including beds. Rock hard mattresses, all pointy and hard surfaces. Privately owned condo staff have no investment, they were surprised I expected more than what we got. .
