Great hotel!! We went early to the hotel and was fortunate to check in early with no problems. The hotel room was very clean and spacious. Bonus that the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was amazing, it had a nice outdoor pool with music and great places to hangout either inside or outside. They have bike rentals aswell for first come first serve They had a restaurant that was very good. The hotel was very close to the beach and at reception you can get beach towels. There is plenty of restaurants near by and a CVS about an 8 min walk. Hotel was very clean throughout, staff very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The best choice I’ve ever made.”
Great equipments, ambience, and services. I reserved 4bed room, and it was so spacious with comfy bed, everything in there was just like 4 star hotel. I especially loved the lobby and outdoor pool, which had high quality sound of the trendy music and various types of seats and tables. There was also the restroom on the lobby, which was very efficient. The location of the hotel was perfect. I could take a bus just across the street, and surrounding nice hotels and restaurants brought a feeling of luxury whenever I was walking. The receptionists were so professional. So friendly, accommodating, they perfectly knew what they are doing. Especially thanks for the male, who came to me and gave me my check when I was worried about it. I felt like had become healthier physically and psychologically when I was leaving. Trust the high ratings.

We love Generator”
If you want a good mix of people travelling and a clean super modern environment for an affordable price located at the middle of Miami Beach and near all services- this is the right place to go! The staff is super nice and the bar and restaurant have excellent food. The pool is heated or tempered during colder rainy days. I enjoyed my stay soo much because of the cordiality of staff and guests. It's a wonderful location. Generators cheesecake and panna cotta variation are a must! I can't wait to eat it again!

There was a misinformation with my reservation (I had booked a private room &hotel had reservation for shared dorm room) which hotel staff solved immediately. Thank you! Hope we can visit again!

The staff really went out of their way to accommodate my last minute bookings. The lovely lady with pink hair in the bar was one of the friendliest people working there and met all my needs with a smile on her face! Made me feel so welcome. Honestly would stay there again in a heartbeat

Stunning boutique hotel/luxury hostel in mid-beach!”
Not your typical hostel tailored for backpackers. It is primarily a boutique hotel with some dorms for those on a budget. It's a pretty fancy hotel with great decor and vibe including a nice pool, bar and restaurant. A few minutes walk to the beach. I'd like to give a shoutout to the Front Office Assistant Manager, Eric Kem, whom was super helpful during my stay including providing me with suggestions on where to go sightseeing, eat as well as party. Your enthusiasm is very well appreciated!

Good Management, Rafael Motta”
We had a very nice stay at Generator. It is a young, modern, cosmopolitan hotel with a beautiful and multifunctional openspace, a nice refined restaurant and a refreshing pool area and chill out bar. The rooms are perfectly fine, functional, with nice view. We could leave our luggages at the hotel and use the facilities even after check out. We checked out at 11 and one hour later i realised that i left my Cartier watch in the room. I asked to have the key back to be able to access the room and I found the cleaning lady that told me that she was almost finishing cleaning the room. I perfectly knew where i left the watch but it was not there. She told me that she did not find anything, i checked again, on the floor, under the bed but nothing. I was shaking as the watch is precious and a family present. What happened next Is extremely important to give a+ to the Manager of the hotel. As i was desperate, the supervisor asked me to check in my luggages. I knew that it was not there but i checked anyhow. The Manager intervened and he told me that in casw they would have checked the camera recording on my floor to see who got into our room. He then told me to relax, go to the pool and be his guest, taking anything i wanted from the bar. I had a glass of wine, i was in strong distress and concern. The Manager arrived after twenty minutes with a present for me. The watch was found. I know that the watch was not in the room as i checked but I didn’t want to investigate or to accuse. What is important to me is how nicely the case was treated by the Manager and i could go home with my watch on and with a happy memory of Miami and Generator. Thank you Mr Rafael Motta.

Lack of enough employees”
No coffee on premises during my stay because the employee quit, couldn’t the desk help at least make up a pot.. This proves lack of proper management to me. We have to walk two blocks to get a coffee.in the rain. There are no washer, dryers, or iron to tidy up out clothes. And the restaurant here is super expensive for a hostel. The location is 25 blocks away from all the nightlife and action. They need older experienced management. I should know, I use to own a hotel. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean.

Housekeeping woke me at 9 am!!”
I have hostelef all over the world. This is the first time I've ever encountered and it was defended that housekeeping can enter the room at 9:00 a.m. to start cleaning the beds that others have departed from while I'm still sleeping and have paid for the room up until 11:00 a.m. check out time. There was no soap in the room I had to go downstairs and get shower gel which I think they sell. All of the staff members for housekeeping did not speak English so I had no way to communicate with them that I wanted the room left alone until I was awake and ready to leave at 11:00 a.m. that was the time that I paid for and I deserve that.. The location is good I had a big toenail in my bed from someone prior to but cleanliness I would give it a three out of five. Front desk staff didn't seem to care, was all about money as you'll find in much of Miami and they're 18% gratuities added to your bills at restaurants and whatnot.
