Pre cruise stay”
During few day stay prior to cruise, I found the facility to be well managed and clean. Included in our Agoda reservation was breakfast. Food was good and fresh. Beach was nice and maintained as well as the pool area. For the value, this is one of the nicest places we have stayed at in the area. Thanks Newport.

Everything you need in a hotel”
This hotel had everything we needed, clean, comfortable, value for money considering where it is located right on the beach and the Staff was perfect and very helpful. The only issue we had was If you get a room at the front of the hotel it can be a little noisy with all the cars beeping and revving their engines through the night, Double glazing is needed.

I’m not sure why people grade this hotel so harshly. It is in nice condition, doesn’t feel dated. The bed and pillows comfy, we got a “city view” which actually had an awesome big window showcasing a lot of the ocean. Gorgeous. We had the steak Thursday special which was delish. Staff are really nice. No surprise fees. I knew I had to pay a resort fee and there is parking you must pay daily. I would definitely come again!

We enjoyed all aspects of our 5-night-stay in this amazing by-the-beach hotel! The resort provides great value for money and is located in the luxurious area of Sunny Isles. Would go back again any time !!

Great place for a great price”
Nice hotel right on the beach. No complimentary breakfast & check in is not until 4pm unless you get lucky and they have a room ready sooner. Parking is $20 or $25 for valet. Great place for the price.

Construction ”
Construction going on was awful and you aren’t warned until you get there. There’s tons of random price add ons and the drinks are crazy expensive. There’s only allowed a certain amount of chairs right now on the beach so it’s hard to get one. Other than this the hotel was good for the price. Nice room, and large bathroom. The room was clean enough. The pool is nice and warm, the hot tub is closed due to construction. Great location with restaurants all around, definitely don’t need a car.

Hotel is under renovations. It's right off the beach. I enjoyed the extended weekend stay. Only time we were in the room was to sleep. If you're looking for a reasonable weekend getaway that you want to spend on the beach it's right up your alley.

Beautiful property, room not so much”
We were put in one of the only rooms with no balcony. There were small windows very high up with a view of the top of the lobby roof. It was also right in front of the elevators so it was a little noisy. We were only there one night before a cruise so it was okay. Just beware there is at least one bad room. The pools were beautiful, but we didn't have time to use them.

Will stay again”
Nice location close to many places in all directions. Service was good and the resort itself was clean and overall nice. The food on location (multiple restaurants) is good as were the drinks. It's very convenient. Rooms are nice and possible upgrades are available for a reasonable amount. Beach and poolside are clean and spacious. There are some nickel and dime quirks I was unaware of, however. $28+ daily fee (on top of nightly rates), $10 fees for unreturned towels or cards. Also, ordered a drink on the beach and was told gratuity was added to my price, but that was by a fellow patron after I tipped the employee. You want a cabana? That's available, but pads for the wooden chairs are at an added cost. Overall would stay with again.
