Great location for the cost”

We loved the location, restaurant on site, and across the street from the beach. The pool was not worth the time unless you get there at 9 am and plan to camp out. Close to all shops and restaurants.

Moved from The Colony (crap) to Penguin Hotel and we are glad we did. The two hotels are within minutes of each other but like night and day. The staff here is so accommodating. Breakfast buffet was pretty ok. Great rooms, especially the ocean view. My only complaint would be the pool is on the roof of another hotel/apt building. So there was never any room there because of the amount of people that could get into the area. No big deal though. Just go to the beach.

We were in South Beach for a wedding. Host hotel was $300 per night. Not going to do that! Penguin is simple, but great location. Breakfast outside, people watching, nice staff, out & about. Come back to small clean room. Functional clean bathroom. That’s all we wanted.

Pathetic front desk..took 1 hour to bring my car and hence, missed my show”
