They will hold your bag in a safe, locked place until you can check-in. The rooftop pool is a great place to lounge, and it’s open until 7:30PM. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. I’d recommend staying here, especially for the price.

Pleasant stay near the beach”

The hotel was quite close to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to request a room away from the road.

Not what I expected ”

We rented king Penthouse suite. It was basically a regular Room with a king bed. Didn't even have a good view. The shower handle was broken and we had to call to have someone fix the hot water. When we arrived there was a ton of people on the front step and the whole area smelled like weed. Parking is 35 a day

It was worth the money.. the continental breakfast was great.. the front desk staff was great. The managers was great help..

The bathrooms are TINY (shower door can't open all of the way because it hits the toilet), the rooms are NOT soundproof at ALL. I could hear every conversation in the hallways as if my door was wide open, and the beds don't come with comforters, only flat sheets. The hospitality is good, you get free drink vouchers, and the lobby is cute but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent Location ”

The hotel is well located, walking distance to beach 8-10 minutes, same to Lincoln road and like 5 to Ocean drive or Washington Ave, the break is good, and the room are clean and updated.

Inconvenient, misleading, but in a good location”

Pros: location, staff is somewhat friendly and breakfast Cons: this hotel is part of the Penguin group of 3 hotels. The pool is not in the actual hotel, but in the sister property. Pool was closed while we were there even though the weather was fantastic (no rain, very sunny). Parking is also not available in the property as it is described (they say they offer parking, that's a lie). You need to park in a public garage 2 blocks away and pay $20 for the night, otherwise you can park in the street in front of the hotel (if you find a spot) that the city charges you $4 per hour. The rooms are very tight, we barely could open the door because the queen bed is seriously at the door. The smell of the hallway is a mix of old mildew with wet dog. The room was clean, but only provided 2 towels (in a room for up to 4 people) so we had to ask for a third one for my son. The air conditioner was old and very noisy. Would not stay again do not recomend for families with small children.

Nice place, has a decent size rooftop pool, free breakfast when booking your stay certain ways, location close to everything.

6 nights comfortable stay ”

Love this hotel! Clean & spacious! Continental breakfast was provided every morning. Close to Miami Beach just a few mins walk. Convenient location to check out Miami. A lot of food choices just outside the hotel. Would stay again!

Nice place to stay”

Location is very good - very close to south beach. Upon check in they provide welcome alcohol drinks. Room is spacious and clean, comfortable bed and hot showers. Fast WiFi. Breakfast is really good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of shops nearby. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Not good”

It was not up to the standards for the price I was charged for. I found hair in the towel I ask for new one and still found hair, they should ask the cleaning staff to wear hair cap

Disappointing, could have been alot better”

The location is great, the price is right, just a few small things and I would have recommended it. After my 1st night, the maid never cam`e to clean my room. I stopped her int he hall and she said, she would be back after 5 pm. I thought hat was odd and of course, she never came back. The 2nd night I again had to ask her to clean my room, she was out of towels but at least she cleaned my room and returned later with new towels. The worst part of the place is the idiot guy doing the Valet parking. A big guy who will try all ploys to rip you off. DO NOT USE THE VALET SERVICE. 24 hour parking lots are a block away and for almost half the price. This guy tries to rip you off from the minute you get there. He charges more for SUV's even though the garage doesn't. I can see for a Suburban or Escalade but for a Rogue or Rav 4, he is pocketing the difference. At check out, he came and stated that the lot charged an extra $20 because it was after 12. again, just a way to steal $.

Overall bad experience”

If you book Villa you're going to be put in a house two doors down of the reception desk/lobby/breakfast place. We booked it and were put in room 104 (right at street level, loud). After asking for another room we were put in 107 which is next to the elevator maintenance/motor, so everytime the elevator went up or down a terible noise started (also one window looking at the walls of the neighborhouse about 3 feet away). The next day we went to the reception and asked for another switch. We were told to keep our bags in the room and they will be moved for us. In the afternoon it still hadn't happened and there was no record of us wanting to be moved. After some discussion where we were told we couldn't be moved, we were finally put in a room (also in the Villa) on the 3rd floor. Bigger room but sliding "door" to the bathroom which was right next to the bed. Breakfast was ok for a hostel, not for a hotel. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend it one bit for that price.
