Outstanding, with just the right amount of first class Art Deco flair. ”
If you’re interested in close to the beach, the strip and old style Art Deco with smaller rooms. This is the place for couples and families. The space offers nice evening music, a great restaurant and a flair for service. On our trip we are beach goers and the proximity is a perfect. With Uber we are Within 15 minutes of anywhere you want to go. And if you don’t mind walk you’re within a walk to the main strip.

The Plymouth Hotel is a great value! It was right down the street from the beach and just a 15 minute walk to Ocean Drive/South Beach. The staff was very friendly and patient with my 3 young children. The room was clean and cold and I had a nice view of the pool. The only downside was there was no valet (yet), but there is a parking garage available right around the corner. However, that was an additional cost to keep my car parked there.

Overall this is an exceptional hotel. Loved the fact thAt attention had been dev to Making the room comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The only downside was that online information indicated that there was valet parking and we found out that that service end at the onset of COVID. Also we had to walk to the sister hotel for breakfast which also wasn’t indicated. The beach in a quick walk away and the neighborhood safe and pretty!

The location is great. The staff is so kind and helpful. Very enjoyable stay. The only thing is the music at the pool that you can hear from your room and the breakfast (Think about Gluten and dairy free!) but other than that very nice hotel.

Place is charming & nice pool but not very big. They serve good spicy margaritas & really has a kick. My issue was check in, we could only check in at 3-4pm & check out the front desk was totally not kind about and extended check out & was insistent on 12noon or she gave me a max of 1230pm, front desk who checked me out that day was curt, perfunctory & not hospitable. However the doorman, woman by recption desk (there’s a welcome area) was super helpful, easy to talk to & helped me ease the stay better. I guess they were busy & under staffed due to covid. Still, if you want people to comeback good service is key. The cleaning of room was okay but the person who cleaned our room also left her cleaning materials & our pool towels were not taken away. There are so many other hotel choices in Miami so I would say try others with better scores. Bathroom was very clean when we arrived!

I would say for me the best part of my stay here was the staff, especially the doormen, who were so unbelievably nice! Other than that I was pretty disappointed with my stay. The pool, while gorgeous, was always dirty with things floating in it. And even though we were paying guests is the hotel we were not allowed to consume outside food or drink while at the pool. Also I understand it’s a touristy area but the $15 piña colada’s were just premade drink mix and a skimpy shot. Our phone never worked, even though I asked the front desk to fix it twice! Because of this, I had to keep going down to the front desk by foot to ask any questions or get fresh towels! The room, while stylish, are very small with no storage! There was no dresser for clothing in our room and our closet was the size of a mini fridge. Also the door to the bathroom in the room is akin to Venetian blinds and provides little privacy to the person using it sound wise. The walls in our room also seemed dirty and definitely needed a new paint job. Also the breakfast at Orange Blossom is wonderful but definitely not free since the hotel makes you sign for another $40 a day service fee upon arrival. Overall I would say my stay was ok. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is pretty good. However, for a four star hotel I expected way way more!

There is nothing in the website indicating there is a $450 security deposit per room. At check-in I had to put down $900 as a security deposit, I think other travelers should be aware of that before you booked

Hotel didn't honor that resevred and paid for room with terrance. Hotel had false/misleading advertising. Said they had private beach saloon and a lot of other features that they did not Have.

Great place to stay for a convention!”
If you are doing anything at the Miami Convention Center, then consider staying at The Plymouth South Beach! It is within walking distance (like 10 mins give or take) so you will not have to worry about using an UBER or LYFT to get there. It is also convenient to the airport as well so double WIN. You get to meet the fantastic Rafaela (sp)and Daniel who took great care of me during my short trip. The only negative that I have is that the water did not get hot enough (for me) for a shower, but that was more than likely due to the number of people staying there when I was there. Otherwise, it was great!
