You get what you pay for ”
We travel often and aren't usually the types to write reviews, but the check-in experience was awful to put it nicely. It took two hours to get checked in to a room that we hadn't booked. "Manager", Joshua, and front desk Rep Alex (if those are their real names), we're unhelpful and despite showing proof of the room I booked did nothing to accommodate our actual booking of a king/queen room. After saying they wanted verification of the room and showing it, then it turned Into them being unable to make the room change and then the room we booked wasn't available. Overall, just poor communication and lack of understanding of how to provide good service. The hotel itself meets the basics, as we've stayed here before and is near the beach. But if you can afford to stay somewhere else, do it and avoid being cheap. Lesson learned. Our double bed room has zero counter space in the bathroom, no closet space, and no shelves in the shower to set anything. I intentionally booked a larger room to avoid this, but with a later check-in (starting at 7pm) they gave us what they had left.

The staff was great, but I wouldn't stay here again”
Half of the electrical plugs didn't work. We reserved a king bed but got to full size beds. There was no where to hang towels and the room looked like it was decorated with used furniture and fixtures from 12 different hotels. Nothing matched anything. Lol. It was at least clean and quiet at night and the staff was super friendly. I wouldn't stay here again though.

I live in Miami so I'm not a tourist. My girlfriend and I were very satisfied with he staff, room cleanliness and accomodations for the price. The facility is in better condition than other more expensive hotels on Miami Beach. Will definitely recommend to others.

Winter break at the Whitehall Hotel”
Overall we and our friends were pleased with the hotel. We were a little disappointed that the rooftop lounge and bar were closed and we had hoped to sunbath on the roof if that would have been appropriate. Apparently it did not have a lock that could be accessed with a room key and was being used by non residents of the hotel.

Brilliant place, Wonderful Staff”
The redesign of the rooms is excellent with great ameneties. The staff is wonderful from the desk staff to the room staff. The hotel manager was so wonderful. She works hard to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of and her staff is the same. This is a great place to stay. A great location, a beautiful hotel and brilliant employees.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights from 19 - 21 September. The hotel was easy to find, clean and in a fab location! We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful and especially loved the happy hour between 7 and 8 pm! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Whitelaw”
Staff were great, facilities were decent for the price. Stayed on lvl 1 and considering music is played until 11pm, room wasn't noisy. The hotel is near bars, restaurants and a 24 hour restaurant/cafe/bar which did a decent breakfast. Free spirits at the Whitelaw bar between 7 & 8pm.
