For a couple or singles not for family with kids”

Not for families with kids, you can hear everything going on behind your doors , marijuana smell and outside the music and people laughing. It’s awesome 👏🏻If it’s just you and husband or a couple. You are on the heart of the fun! Restaurants, night clubs and people having a great time. Just do t bring your kids.

We have a 3 night trip. Arrived yesterday and staff, the hotel and room have all been great so far. Great music yesterday with Tony, very helpful staff and right in the middle of the action on Oceandrive. Even with covid there is a vibrancy here and it’s great!

Run down Property ”

First thing I notice at arrival was unfriendly staff, breakfast has crossiant and microwave eggs. Room and especially bathroom was dirty. Phone not working in the room. Window shade broken. I will not advise anyone to stay here unless they are on budget. You can get better hotels within 20 dollar more range.

NOT informed it was under construction.”

The fact the booking agent at agoda failed to tell me the whole building was under construction was aweful. The front desk staff was rude when I expressed my concern at the time of check in. Then they place up in the back next to where they roll trash cans. It was very loud did nasty looking. No one wanted to accommodate me for the inconvenience. Never again will I stay at the Avalon nor book thru Agoda! Word of mouth goes a long way remember that before you treat your customers poorly!!

It was great. Room not large but clean and comfortable. Location is terrific for beach, restaurants, shopping and night life. The staff at the Avalon was one of the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered in my years of travel. I would definitely stay there again.

Could have been much better”

The hotel n rooms are quit old and small, the elevator was inopperative so we had to take the stairs to go to the 3rd floor with our luggages, not all the time there were staff available to help us with luggages.. But in general the staff were nice n helpful.. I guess the price was too expensive for a hotel like Avalon
