I loved the location & the amenities. Two free waters, beach chairs & towels, free happy hour drinks and best of all, free breakfast. Location is in the thick of things but our room was quiet and peaceful during sleep. We loved people watching during breakfast on the patio. We will definitely come stay at the Pelican again, it was worth the money for all the amenities that came with it. We used Uber and Lyft to get everywhere and walked everywhere because it was close.

Great Price, Great Location,, Original and Friendly”
The hotel is very original with a themed decor for each different room. Although it is in the heart of the action in South beach, our room was on a side street and it was quiet when we wanted it to be. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. They have complimentary drinks for happy hours for guests and breakfast in included. You are just steps away from the beach and the brand new work out area. The only small issue was a lack of organization of the valet parking so we ended up parking the car in a lot a street away, which was fine for us as we didn't have much to carry.

The pelican was great, our group really enjoyed ourselves. You can't go wrong choosing this hotel. The rooms were decorated very well with a different theme in each room. You're also directly across the street from the beach, they also offer free breakfast for their guest. Overall best hotel on the strip so far for me.

During a month in the U.S. the worse place yet”
Hotel staff are unhelpful and rude. Getting in the hotel is through a restuarant which the hostess is asking you continuously if you want to eat there.. the breakfast is greasy and the foid tasted like it was fried with a year old oil. The rooms are very small that you can't even open 2 suitcases together. When we said that the room doesn't suite us, they refused to let us leave even though they said that they are fully booked. We decided to leave anyway to a nice hotel called Sagamore which is better located and the rooms are nice, cozy and big.

I booked on the recommendation of Tripadvisors and it was spot on. The rooms were nice and clean (Bathrooms could use some remodeling). The staff was amazing, all of them as we stayed 6 days and never had an issues with any of them. The breakfast was awesome and it lasted till 11am which was great. The free drinks in the afternoon were great. All and all worth the stay and money.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal im Service und an der Rezeption. Aufpassen beim Valet-Parken, das Auto muss selbst in den gekennzeichnet Bereich vor das Hotel gestellt werden. Es gab ein Missverständnis beim Valet-Parken, welches in eine längere Diskussionen mit der Geschäftsführung führte. Letztendlich konnte eine Lösung gefunden werden . Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut, vor allem auf Porzellanteller und mit Stoffserviette und Besteck!!!!

I’ve never slept on such a hard bed at a motel. They even put some kind of pad on it for us and it was still a rock. If you can’t tolerate sleeping on steel then go somewhere else.
