it is very quiet, clean and not too far from koiwa station, about 10 minutes walk. the room is compact with bathroom and toilet, and tatami and futon to sleep on. there are food outlets in the surrounding area.

Clean, Quiet, Fairly Spacious”

Pros: Clean Quiet Spacious - separate bedroom and toilet areas Old couple that runs the place very nice - their breakfast is awesome. Cons: Further away from Tokyo city centre (+15 mins in train travel) Curfew by 11pm. The couple is willing to wake up and open the door for you after 11pm, but it makes you feel bad.

My best stay in Japan”

After 2 weeks traveling in Japan, I came to Tokyo and Ryokan Fuji. I was immediately pleased by the garden and the welcome by the owner. When I got to the room, I knew I had come to the place I had been looking for. The lobby and room were new and sparkling, well-planned, and traditional. There was a bathing area and tub in the room, a toilet, sink area, and a sleeping area, all immaculate. The hosts were always helpful and kind. There was a coin laundry downstairs. The train station was a short walk away. I loved this place, it is a jewel.

Awesome Ryokan experience”

This place is about 10 minutes walk from JR Koiwa station. Koiwa is outside the main Tokyo loop, so do factor that in - you are not going to be living in a tourist hub of any sort. The ryokan itself is fabulous, run by an old couple who are always available for any help. The rooms are immaculate, and the fixtures are sparkling clean and look very new. A couple of standout items - the WiFi is extremely fast! And the bathroom is excellent..seriously one of the best and most relaxing shower + tubs in our entire Japan trip

Couldn't ask for anything more”

I was extremely content , this stay was serene. A very short walk to the train, though I did take a taxi when I arrived, as , being unfamiliar with the language I needed the re-assurance that I'd got to the right place. The Japanese breakfast was exquisite lye presented and very tasty. I won't hesitate to recommend it and the friendly, kind owners to my travelling friends

One of my most memorable stays”

My stay was really memorable. First time stay at a Ryokan (Japanese Inn) in the suburbs of Tokyo. About 20 minutes from Tokyo JR Station. Something different from the usual city hotels. The owners really made me feel at home. It was like living at a friend's place. They would ask me before I headed out if I needed any help for directions of the places I would like to visit. The Japanese Breakfast was really nice. Also enjoyed the company of the resident cat. Would highly recommend this hotel to any traveller who would like try something different and enjoy the warmth of Japanese Hospitality. Thank you Ryokan Fuji.

Absolutely wonderful ryokan experience”

I was thoroughly pleased with the room, as they had a traditional japanese bath facility, tatami room, and comfortable futon to sleep in. In the morning, sunlight streams in gently through the window in the roof, and sets an incredible ambiance that you just have to experience it yourself. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and a bicycle you can rent to explore the small town of Koiwa.

Lovely ryokan and wonderful hosts”

this ryokan was a delightful surprise and will be my first choice for the next time i'm in tokyo. the room was actually a small private suite, easily suitable for two people, and everything was bright, fresh & clean. (and there was a strong wi-fi signal.) the proprietors were friendly and welcoming, and really seemed to pride themselves on the small touches to make me feel at home. the location was superb. don't be put off because it's not on the yamanote line. it's quite easy to reach from central tokyo: change to the sobu line at akihabara, seven stops to koiwa, and it's a few blocks down sun road from the south exit of jr koiwa station. access to the subway lines is also easy (via ryogoku on the sobu line), as is narita airport (via the keisei line, just a few blocks away from the ryokan).

정말 별로입니다 이틀숙박으로 다음날 청소한다고 나가라하면서. 다시돌이와보니 정리만한듯 더러워진 시트는 갈아놓지도 않았습니다 다시는 가고싶지 않습니다 적막해서 우울한분위기가나는 숙소. 그리고 답보로만 나방을하기에. 자는내내 추웠습니다. 일본에 그흔한 전기매트하나 깔아놓지도 않았습니다 내가가본곳중. 최악. 시설도 안됩니다

일본 다다미방, 현대식 시설. 친절하신 주인부부. 단, JR선-코이와역-이 가깝긴 하지만 시내에서 좀 떨어져있어요. 게이세이코이와역 나리타 공항 가기는 편해요.
