Comfortable, modern, private apartment for a group of up to five guests in a peaceful, safe residential area of eastern Tokyo. Only 5 minutes (400m) from the railway station. 5-min ride to Tokyo Skytree (Oshiage station) and only 8 mins to Asakusa. In walking distance: 24-hour stores, a selection of eateries, bars, and parks (including a riverside park with great views of the city and Tokyo Skytree).
Situation
You can feel at home here. This apartment is not in a complex where there might be issues with noise-sensitive neighbours. It is in a 3-storey detached building that comprises only one other residential home. The apartment's private entrance door opens directly onto a quiet street. All rooms except the toilet have a window. There are adequate storage closets for luggage, clothes, and possessions.
Sleeping Arrangements
The sofa bed is in an area that faces the kitchen. It easily converts from a sofa into a comfortable bed with ample space for two people. It has a curtain that can be pulled around for privacy. The separate bedroom has two single beds, and a fifth guest would need to put down a good-quality, comfortable futon floor mattress. All bedding (all bought new) is supplied.
Amenities
Your group will share none of the amenities described. You will be able to cook and prepare food in a kitchen equipped with a halogen range, microwave oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, and cooking/eating utensils. The bathroom has a shower and hot tub. There is a laundry-washing machine and space for clothes drying. The toilet is separate. Translation to English supplied for appliances' usage instructions, remote controls, etc.
Guest access
It's a self-contained apartment. Fully furnished and equipped. For the exclusive use of a group of up to five guests.
Ordinary folks in Tokyo who have a little space to spare -- and then we found out we're better at this than we thought we would be. We can help in Japanese and Thai, if need be, but the preferred language is English (please), so that's the only language we're claiming for now. Looking forward to meeting you and making your stay here pleasant and comfortable.

No smoking No parties or events Check-in time is 4PM - 1AM (next day). Collect the key from nearby location Check out by 12PM (noon) Remove your shoes inside the door (Clean house slippers supplied) No additional guests unless agreed in advance. (We accept guests included in the reservation up to a maximum of five guests in total.) Additional guests who are not included in the reservation and arrive at our property without agreement in advance will be charged at a rate 50% higher than our regular rate for extra guests A maximum of two infants (children aged under three years) accepted at no extra charge No recreational drugs Please keep the noise down, especially at night and especially outside the property. Switch off the air conditioning and lights, and lock the external door when you go out Sort waste items into the correct containers, and only move waste to locations as indicated. Do not move waste outside the property. Ask the owners to arrange collection. If you fail to follow this rule, you may be charged an excess cleaning fee. Last rule is don't worry. We're not really that bossy :-) WHEN YOU RESERVE ACCOMMODATION AT OUR PROPERTY, YOU THEREBY ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE: * We will need to reserve a refundable security/damage deposit of JPY20,000 on your payment card or PayPal before your stay begins. This is to protect us from loss or damage, just like at a hotel. The deposit will be released in full within 48 hours of your departure, provided there is no damage or loss at the property during your stay. We will inform you of options in a message. * No parking on property - Paid parking spaces only a three-minute walk away. Parking in the street to load/unload is no problem. * Must climb stairs - One short, straight flight with bannister rail up to the 2nd floor * For long-term stays (30 nights+) we will need you to sign a digital rental contract to stay in compliance with Japan law
